Our Patented Starch Cooking System eliminates most starch spots on textiles including dark colored linens. Our starch is an all natural product, it is environmentally friendly and, in most cases, costs significantly less than liquid or instant starches.
Our starch cooking system is a dry to liquid starch factory. It is the most innovative concept of starch cooking in the laundry industry. Our machine produces up to five hundred (500) gallons of cooked starch per hour. The patented batch system is unique and requires less space and is able to cook more starch with less waste or cleanup than any other starch cooking system. Our machines have revolutionized the starch cooking process in over two hundred (200) plants. We have expanded our operation to service the paper and textile industries. Our machine is perfect for any industry that requires cooked starch for its operation.
Perfect Starch Incorporated was founded in 1993. The corporation's goal was to provide clients with a better way to automatically dispense, cook and deliver starch in industrial laundries.
Raw starch (powder form) is the most economical starch used in the laundry industry. Raw starch can also be the most labor-intensive starch, requiring manual intervention during every washer cycle and/or the production of large starch quantities, resulting in waste. Perfect Starch designed and patented a starch machine to eliminate the headaches typically associated with using cooked starch.
Initially, there were two variations of the starch machine. The models were the Duo-Flow and the Ever-Flow. The Duo-Flow was design for small retail operations, while the Ever-Flow was developed to work with large industrial linen and uniform plants. The starch cooking machines went through various alterations and innovations and a commercial model was ready for market deployment in 1997. Perfect Starch Inc. was very successful from the very beginning, adding over sixty (60) commercial laundries to its client list in the first year of operation.
As the corporation evolved, Perfect Starch invested its time and resources in expanding its client base in the laundry business, specifically on plants that focus in processing linens. Through the last ten years Perfect Starch has experienced a steady yearly growth. In 2009 and 2010 Perfect Starch has focused on enhancing its image, improving its processes and technologically upgrading the Ever-Flow. Perfect Starch is poised to increase its footprint in the laundry industry.

Perfect Starch understands that no two plants are alike. We tailor our solutions to meet the needs of each client. Our starch machine is fully programmable to match each plant’s washing requirements. The Ever Flow works with conventional and tunnel washers. It is a self-cleaning system requiring a minimal amount of maintenance to continue providing the perfect starch solution for every load.
Our installation requirements are simple and compact. We will provide your plant engineers with the necessary schematics and information required for the installation. We can also provide parts, such as Belimo valves, Armstrong steam regulators and water mixers.
Depending on your monthly starch consumption, Perfect Starch Inc. may be able to lease the Ever Flow to your plant at little or no cost. A one-time startup fee is usually required.
